BEHIND THE DROP look into the "WAITRESS" Drop.

Waitress tells the story of Jenna, a waitress and expert pie maker who dreams of a way out of her small town and loveless marriage.

It was an honor watching these Scenics bring this piece to life. Always working hard to make the Scenic Art Studios backdrops stage ready!!!

Waitress is a great show! BUY YOUR TICKETS!! CHERRY pie never looked so good.

Blaze was a rescue dog from Bleu's Canine Rescue. We fostered him here at Scenic Art Studios for a couple of weeks until he found his permanent family. We were honored to have him be part of the SAS family if just for a short while...He always put a smile on our faces.

Bleu’s Canine Rescue Inc is an ALL BREED Non profit Animal Rescue Organization. They are 100% foster and volunteer based throughout the Hudson Valley. They are dedicated in saving dogs of all sizes and all breeds by placing them into loving, forever homes. The...

"History has proven that over time the best artwork are the ones that complement others. Sometimes it’s the lighting at a specific concert or a costume in a film, just to name a few. However, one avenue of artistic craft seems to be the perfect mix of natural aesthetic in scenic design for elaborate entertainment productions. Luckily, there is one company that has had consistent success in this medium and continues to wow audiences well into the modern age. Scenic Art Studios (SAS) is that one stop s...

An eclipse takes place when one body mass such as the moon or planet moves into the shadow of another body. The eclipse of the sun is something I will always remember here at Scenic Art Studios. We all shared a moment together in awe of what we had witnessed. Each SAS member full of excitement with every glance towards the sky. Once the eclipse passed the painting continued. #epic #eclipse

The Guild of Scenic Artists is the community for Scenics to find opportunities for professional development and to connect with each other. We’re here for you; to connect, share, and develop.

As the majority of Scenic Artists are freelance, the nomadic nature of their work make...

The shop crew here at Scenic Art Studios is hard at work! Stretching the net for yet another backdrop. All wearing their handmade signature cut off sleeve shirts!  Working together to complete multiple jobs throughout each day.

The artists at SAS appreciate the sleeveless scenic band. Teamwork make the dreamwork.
